Graduated from the Rolando Escardó School of Plastic Arts (vocational level), in the Province of Cienfuegos in 1987 and from the National School of Plastic Arts (higher level), in Havana in 1991. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Art of Havana, in 1996, specializing in Painting.

He has been a professor at the ISA Chair of Painting in the period from 1996 to 2001.

He is one of the artists to take into account of his generation. He is a painter par excellence, his level of detail in his canvases is worked in an exquisite way. He is a very active, disciplined, organized and art fanatic artist.

His canvases address the surrounding reality of Havana as a city, time, its history and the universal roots that exist in it.

He has been the recipient of numerous awards. In the Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, Cuba, you can find works by the artist.
