He studied at the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts from 1981 to 1986. Rolando Escardó Elementary School of Plastic Arts, in Cienfuegos from 1977 to 1981.

He was a Founding Member of Grupo Punto, 1995-1998, and a Founding Member of the ACPW Art Factory Union City, New Jersey. USA, 2019-2020.

He works very creatively in artistic manifestations such as sculpture and drawing, venturing into new media as a basis for his works.

He has obtained important residencies for his training and realization of his work outside of his native country, such as in 2017 from The Rockefeller Foundation.

He lives and works in the USA.
