Journalistic writings say that he began to paint in 1950, a decade in which he also worked decorating ceramic pieces together with other artists such as Portocarrero, Lam and Amelia, in the Santiago de Las Vegas Workshop.

Almost all of her artistic work was done with black ink and colored inks on small-sized paper and cardboard, generally vertical, where she represented heads, faces, figures, flowers, vases and abstractions.

He was one of the few painters that surrounded Grupo Origen.

From 1979 to 1980 his work became radicalized, it became more elementary. He gave up his usual transparencies and brilliance in favor of drier painting and drawing.

In 1952 he participated in the Venice Biennale, in 1955 in the Sao Paulo Biennial, and in 1960 in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
