Plastic artist, writer, art critic and musical composer. Founder of the prestigious Grupo Signos of great relevance in the history of Cuban art. He was the author of children's, youth and adult plays staged and awarded at National Festivals.

He was a student of Samuel Feijóo. National singers have performed his works. He got numerous awards for his music. He has poems published in magazines and newspapers, as well as two novels that were published by Editorial Capiro. Musical theater is his favorite, which is why he has written plays and has been Assistant Director.

He has given film-debates in different centers of the city and founded the first children's film-club in 1978 at the Santa Clara History Museum, this being the first in the country and in Latin America.
