Graduated from the San Alejandro Academy in 1976 and from the Institute of Museology of Havana in 1986. He worked as a museographer for 10 years at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana.
His work is fundamentally nourished by installation and the manipulation of photography as its support. His first artistic incursions during the 1980s are part of what is called the Renaissance of Cuban Art. In Fors' work, photography takes on a different dimension, in some cases it constitutes a documentary medium.
In 1981, he starred in one of the most important and innovative exhibitions on the Cuban art scene: Volume I.
In 2016 he was awarded one of the most important Cuban Art Awards: The National Prize for Plastic Arts.
Some of his works are part of the Permanent Collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts, Havana, Cuba.
He lives and works in Havana.
