Painter, draftsman and graphic designer. He has designed posters, billboards, and book illustrations. He was a founding professor of the National School of Plastic Arts and the Higher Institute of Art and in 1987 he was awarded the teaching category of Professor of Merit.

Between 1979 and 1983 he presided over the International Association of Plastic Artists. He has published 4 poetry notebooks and made 6 murals.

Among his most important awards is that of being the National Prize for Plastic Arts in 2002 and in 2003 he obtained the National Prize for Artistic Education.
