1973, Holguín, Cuba.

He studied at the Elementary School of Plastic Arts of Holguín, from 1985 to 88. At the Higher School of Holguín from 1988 to 1992; and at the Higher Institute of Art from 1992 to 1997, where he concluded his professional studies.

Multifaceted artist, considered one of the essentials of the 90s. In his plastic speech he denounces in a rugged and direct way his dissatisfaction with the context that surrounds him.

In some series you can see religious themes, recurring motifs in his pieces and in the last stages he handles an art with an abstract concept, where geometry and the play on words become the fundamental elements of his work.

Among his most important awards; in 1998 the Special Mention in the V Drawing Salon of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and in 1995, the Second Prize in the I Salon of Cuban Contemporary Art, in the National Museum of Fine Arts, Havana.
He has obtained Art residencies in London, Johannesburg and New York.

The National Museum of Fine Arts collects his work, Havana, Cuba; in addition to others at the international level.

He currently lives and works in Havana, Cuba.
