He studied painting at the Saint Alexander School between 1924 and 1926 and at the La Grande Chaumiere Academy in Paris, France from 1928 to 1929.

She also studied at the Le Louvre in Paris and the El Prado Museum in Madrid from 1930 to 1932. In 1933 she completed her training at the National Gallery of NY, USA.

He ventured into painting, sculpture, engraving and ceramics.
